Sauterelle Trampoline Club had a great day at the first Welsh trampoline grades competition of the year, held at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.

A small entry this time, but seven out of the nine competitors entered went home with a trophy or medal for their efforts.

The competition was open to clubs from all over Wales.

First place in the regional boys section was taken by Leon Davis, with Oliver Thomas third in the NDP level one event. Amy Compton came third in the girls NDP event level two.

Amy and Oliver both exceeded the qualifying score, and as such will go on to compete in March at the first regional qualifier for the NDP finals, where, if successful they would represent Wales.

Ayisha Choudry came second in regional three, at Under 13 level, while Sara Edwards came third in the 13-plus age group.

Menna Edwards also came second in regional two.

Keira Kettle, in her very first competition, also came third in the beginners event.

Ayisha and Sara also entered the synchronised event, where they finished in second place.

Highest club score of the day was Ayisha Choudry, 44.4.

Sauterelle Trampoline Club runs classes at Tenby Leisure Centre and Carmarthen Leisure Centre on Thursdays.

Some places are available and you can bounce for fun and fitness or train for awards and competition.
