THE weather scuppered the dinghy racing at Tenby Sailing Club last week with too much wind on the Tuesday and no wind on Saturday.

Attention now turns to the redwings and the the first Class race on Thursday, May 7th.

Saundersfoot Sailing Club managed to run two races on Sunday in very light airs.

Cruiser Racing: Race 2 of the series is on Friday at 5.30pm.

Junior Training: Junior training is now fully subscribed with over 30 budding sailors enrolled with a waiting list in place.

There were pleasant conditions for the first session afloat for existing sailors to refresh their skills and beginners to gain a taster.

The previous two Wednesday evenings have seen strong easterly winds allowing trainees to focus on boat rigging, land drills and essential theory for getting afloat. Evening sessions concluding with Terry and Chris' awesome BBQ selection,

Clubhouse: Tenby Chess Club invites all chess players to join them every Tuesday evening from 7pm until 9pm.
