Pontyberem 15 pts.
Tenby United 17
A second half penalty from outside-half Lloyd Thomas was enough to edge a close encounter away to Pontyberem in favour of the Seasiders.
Thomas's kick was the only score of the half, after the visitors had gone into the break trailing by a point.
The Andrew Price, Molson Coors and FBM Holidays sponsored Tenby side had notched up two tries in the first half from second row Ashley Bonser and fullback Aled Bowen, both converted by Thomas, but Bont led at the interval through tries from fullback Daniel Griffiths and No. 8 Steve George, with Mike Sauro successfully landing a penalty and conversion.
The Seasiders saw some good performances put in at a tough place to win, with the likes of Roy Osborn, Jason Ronowitz and Gareth Edwards all catching the eye, along with those who put the points in the board.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Tenby will face Milford Haven at Heywood Lane.
