It has been a memorable week for Tenby United. Not only are they still celebrating their superb Pembrokeshire Knockout Cup victory against Whitland last Saturday, but tonight (Friday), they will be in the TV spotlight.

During senior squad training last Monday evening, S4C cameras turned up at the United's Heywood Lane ground to film some of the players competing in the 'Ar y Pyst' (At the Bar) kicking challenge for the Jonathan Davies programme, 'Jonathan'.

For those who are not familiar with the show, as a popular feature of it, the cameras travel round Wales filming at clubs who choose six players to compete in the challenge.

Aim of the game is to kick the ball through the posts as many times as possible in 20 seconds, with five points being awarded for a goal and 10 points for hitting a big picture of Welsh international referee Nigel Owens which is hung from the crossbar.

"While at Tenby, they also filmed the squad training and did some other scenes of the boys that are well worth watching," said team manager Peter James. "It was a big boost for the players and hopefully as many people as possible will watch it."

The Jonathan programme will be broadcast on S4C tonight (Friday) at 9.30 pm.
