TEN Tenby Sailing Club volunteers completed their RYA First Aid revalidation over the weekend in preparation for this season's training and events.
Dinghy racing
Racing begins on March 28 with two practice races. Competitive points racing follows on Tuesday, March 31. Sailing Captain Julian Cumpsty will be organising sessions during the season for any members who would like to ‘Come and Try’.
Cruiser racing
The season starts on April 17th, and Cruiser Captain, Tom Eyre, is finalising details of Passage races from Pembroke Haven and Swansea which culminate in Tenby on Saturday June 20. He has also earmarked July 18-27 for a Cruise in Company to Ireland.
Safety boats
A familiarisation shakedown has been set up by Ed Dashfield on the weekend of March 7-8 to ensure that all the boats are in good order and that prospective crews are familiar with all the equipment required to organise club racing.
Clubhouse
Junior Training: Registration is on March 25 and March 31, between 17.30 and 19.30. Terry’s next quiz is on March 7th at 8pm. All proceeds will go to the RNLI.
