Members and guests to the Manor will be pleased to learn of the progress of our new undercover golf school currently under construction.

With most of the ground works complete and the steel on site, we hope to open the facility over the next three to four weeks (weather permitting).

The new golf school will offer golfers a specialist practise area encorporating grass tees during the summer months and a wet weather driving range service during the winter months.

The range is south facing and gives full cover from the elements and prevailing westlerly winds. At over 250 yards long, on a slight incline, and nearly 350 yards wide, golfers will be encouraged to test all aspects of their game.

The Trefloyne Manor Golf School will house both our Junior Academy and Disability Inclusive Golf Programmes 365 days a year!

Members will be offered discounted rates on balls and special group and individual lesson rates.

St. David's Day Cross-Country Scramble

Our very popular cross country Texas Scramble will take place on Sunday, March 2. A team event, over nine specially designed holes, the Texas Scramble format is often seen by many as the most challenging and fun format of the golfing calender. Our signature 1,000 yard hole has been known to throw up a few high scores.

Teams of four can be registered in the Pro-Shop. The shotgun will go off at 10 am sharp!

Golfers of the Week

Our golfers of the week this week are from our Junior Girls Level 4 Academy Group. They are Lilly, Mia and Freya. Both Mia and Lilly have been attending the Academy for over two years and are looking forward to spending more time on the course and entering junior competitions this year. This was Freya's first time in the Academy and she showed great natural talent and ability to win the competition alongside Mia and Lilly.

Remember, the Academy is open to all children aged three to 16 and offers a structured, challenging and fun programme, supervised and delivered by experienced PGA professionals.

Should you require more information on the Academy or would like to attend one of our 'try before you let fly' fun sessions on a Sunday morning, please call the Pro-Shop on 01834 845639.
