Tenby Dog Racers start their season holding a trials meeting next Thursday, June 5, at Marsh Farm, Tenby, (opposite the leisure centre) and will again this year be running all race meetings for charities and other good courses. For this year's championship which runs over seven races* and starts at Marsh Farm, Tenby, on Thursday, July 3, there will be classes for terriers (under 10", under 12", and open) lurchers (under 21", under 23", and open), greyhounds and whippets. There are also classes for novice and novelty dogs so all can take part and they come from all parts of West Wales to compete. There will be trophies presented to the winners of all classes at the end of the season.
