THE Frostbite dinghy racing series at Tenby Sailing Club series is having a delayed start, with gales and rain last Sunday, but time and effort is being spent to tidy up the dinghy park.
In the Clubhouse, this Friday, 24 October, the RNLI will benefit from a ‘Bangers and Mash’ evening when Cockles and Muscles will be singing sea shanties.
There will be a £10 entry fee to support this voluntary institution, to help to keep our coastline and sea-going crews as safe as possible.
The following evening, Saturday, 25 October, Terry Evans will be hosting the first quiz of the winter season, starting at 8pm.
14th-16th November is the Blues Festival, when Tenby Sailing Club will be hosting the Chris James Band as part of the Blues Trail, at 9pm on Saturday 15th.
The club’s annual dinner and prize presentation will take place on Friday, 21 November at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth with a complimentary coach laid on.
The AGM is on Saturday, 29 November. Members are requested to submit their nominations for election to the committee and any other club positions as soon as possible please.
