A FINE autumn day gave four dinghy crews a chance to end the season with some close racing at Tenby Sailing Club on Sunday, September 28th.
Race Officers Steve and Jas Stubbs organised the two races.
Results:
Race 1: 1, R 228 Bill and Nan Dowell; 2, Osprey 1342 Ted Lewis and Lucas Boissevain; 3, Osprey 1365 Dave Griffiths and Maurice Clark; 4, RS600 674 Steve Leach.
Race 2: 1 Osprey 1365; 2, R 228; 3, RS600 674; 4, Osprey 1342 (Retired after broken rudder gear by passing jellyfish}. PRO gained equal 3rd points in each race.
Overall Season Results: 1, Robin Wood; 2, Peter Rose; 3, Steve Leach.
Cruiser racing: The final race of the season will be on Saturday, 4 October 4.

Junior Training: Thanks to Power Boat instructor Max Richards, the second Power Boat training session went ahead on Sunday with all eight young trainees gaining RYA certificates.
Residents are reminded that the large crane will need clear access down St. Julian Street, and Castle Square in the early hours of Thursday, 9 October for the annual lift-out of boats on to the hard standing next to the Sailing Club.
Clubhouse: Last Saturday’s end-of-season party attracted a full house.
Terry Evans and Marc Shepherd put on three curries, and received lots of good comments and thanks from the members.
On 24 October there will be a bangers and mash evening in supporting the RNLI where Cockles and Muscles will sing sea shanties.
Terry will be hosting the first quiz of the winter season on 25 October. 15 November is the Blues Festival, and the 21st is the TSC Annual Dinner and Prize Presentation at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth with transport provided. The AGM is on 29 November.
