Well done to Tenby’s Robin Wood who won the International Canoe Championships in Loch Lomond over July 26 to 29, with 16 top sailors taking part.

Club results from July 25:

Cruisers - 1st Aries, 2nd Slipstream. The course took the two yachts to Giltar, North High Cliff, and Home in a pleasant NW 2/3 breeze.

Dinghies - Alistair Lindsay set a port triangular course for the evening dinghy race starting near Waterwynch.

In a 2-3 westerly, a fleet of twelve dinghies started cleanly and immediately split tacks in the shifty conditions.

The Ospreys of Dan Jackson and Dave Griffiths soon pulled away from the pack. Bill and Nan were pleased to have some Redwing competition in Alex and Holly MacDonald. Nina and Amelia, now getting the hang of their 29er, with dad.
