THE annual Safety Fleet Shakedown at Tenby Sailing Club saw all club RIBs checked over ahead of a busy season.

Whilst afloat safety crew practiced, towing dinghies alongside, towing behind, capsize recovery and assisting with total inversions as well as close quarters manoeuvres.

Mark Brace ran tractor training for an additional seven volunteers for qualification to assist with club activities.

Dinghy racing begins on Saturday, 28 March, and Junior Training Registration is on Wednesday, 25 March and Tuesday, 31March, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

As Wednesday, 1 April approaches, craft in front of the clubhouse and St. Julian’s Church are being prepared for the annual lift-in.

Drivers in the St Julian Street, Castle Square, and Pennyless Cove areas are reminded to leave clear access for the large crane which is scheduled to arrive at 2.30pm.

Members please note that all benefits will be discontinued, and key fobs will be deactivated , if renewals have not been made by 1 April.
