The Commodore’s quiz is held on the last Saturday in every month, the league works up to a grand final in November where a charity chosen by the league teams will be given a (hopefully) large donation. The next quiz will be on Saturday, February 24, starting at 7.30 ish. The cost is £5 for a team of up to six people or £1 if you fancy your chances and go it alone. There will also be a raffle run at a cost of £1 a square any donations will be gratefully received.
Dinghy Show 2018
This year, TSC will be attending the RYA London Dinghy show at Alexandra Palace on Saturday, March 3, we will be there to talk to classes interested in holding National Championships at TSC. We are looking for classes 2023 onwards who have at least 60 active boats. Catering
It is hoped that the club will be installing a new caterer very soon, as soon as the details are finalised then information will be posted across our social media pages and website. The club is also hosting a Valentine’s night tomorrow at the club (Saturday, February 17), on offer is a five-course meal for £25 per person, booking is essential. Saturday and Sunday, February 17 and 18: RYA mark laying course; Saturday, June 23: Junior training day; Sunday, June 24: CYRC junior regatta; Saturday, June 30: TSC Regatta (volunteers required); Sunday, July 1: Round Caldey Race (volunteers required); Saturday, August 4-10: Scorpion National Championships (volunteers required).
Membership renewal
Renewals were due in January. The first full member in a household is £60 and the senior citizen rate applies to those aged 65 and above. If you would like to set up an annual standing order for your membership fees, please contact [email protected]. All forms etc are available on the club website.
