For the observant readers two weeks ago you may have spotted a familiar face sailing Redwing R202; this was of course Blake Shaw and his crew Chris Crockford. This week’s photo features another set of well-known sailors, can you guess who they are?
Last weekend, the sailors meeting took place on Saturday evening. This was extremely well attended and gives hope for a good level of attendance during the upcoming season.
This weekend there is the new monthly Commodore’s Quiz which takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at 7 pm in the club, all teams are welcome. So whether you just come down for a drink and a chat or to see who has the biggest brain, all members and non-members are welcome.
Finally, the clubhouse bar is open from 6.30 pm every Friday and Saturday over the winter.
Junior report
This coming season, the club will again be including a full programme of junior training, including beginners classes, improvers and introduction to racing. We hope all class members will rejoin and we also will be able to enrol new members at all levels.
Sailing classes will commence in April, with registration in late March.
Meetings take place on Wednesday evenings from 5 pm, with a BBQ afterwards, with parents especially welcome to join in and help.
So make sure you keep Wednesdays clear and look out for further details.
