Club Sailing

Bright and sunny on Sunday, but with a boisterous south-easterly force five gusting more and a rough sea, so sailing was cancelled. Looking forward to next year, a meeting to discuss the format for next year, days for sailing, series etc is scheduled for January 21, 7.30 pm, at the club. Diarise now and come and have your say.

AGM

This took place on Saturday, November 26. A room full of members and plenty of volunteers resulted in a couple of changes on the committee, a change of club secretary and some changes in various functions within the club. Thanks were offered to all volunteers stepping down, and all are looking forward to 2017.

Club renovation

At the December committee meeting, a plan for a revamp of the club was adopted. This will mean the club will be closed from January 28, 2017, for three weeks whilst the work is done. Some volunteers will be needed; please get in touch if you would like to help. Keep an eye out for the re-opening party in February or March.
