Sailing

A date for diaries. There will be a meeting on Saturday, February 6, at 8 pm, to discuss the sailing calendar/plans for 2016.

Anyone who wishes to contribute to the forthcoming season is invited to attend. We want a club full of sailors and for the outcome to be a season that everyone will enjoy.

The social committee has been busy; please try to support at least some of the events below. Visitors and guests welcome:

January 20: Junior social evening from 5.30.

January 29: Club Darts Championship. Fancy yourself on the darts board? Get down the club and prove it! From 7.30.

January 30: First aid course at the club.

February 3: Junior social evening from 5.30.

February 7 and 13: Ireland v Wales then Wales v Scotland; Six Nations rugby.

February 20: Quiz night and food, in support of RNLI.

February 26: Wales v France, Six Nations.

February 27 and March 5: Power Boat level two course.

March 2: Junior social evening from 5.30.

March 12: England v Wales; Six Nations.

March 16: Junior social evening from 5.30.

March 18: Wine tasting and quiz.

March 20: Power boat practice day.

June 25 and 26: Club regatta and Round Caldey race.

New members welcome; sailors, aspirant sailors and non sailors. We are a members club run by volunteers who try to involve all members in a variety of activities, both sailing and social.
