Opening Hours

The club is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 pm during the winter months.

Sailing

There is a meeting at 8 pm on Saturday, January 19, to discuss dinghy sailing for the forthcoming sailing season. All interested members are invited to attend and contribute to the decision-making process.

There will be a further meeting in February to settle plans for cruiser racing.

Bangladeshi Banquet

We are delighted to be hosting another evening of delicious, traditional Bangladeshi cuisine for members and their guests.

This treat for the taste buds will take place in the clubhouse on January 26 and will cost a mere £16 per person. The evening will start around 7.30 pm with food served around 8 pm.

To reserve places, please leave your name, the number in your party and a cheque for the appropriate amount for the number in your party behind the bar at the sailing club. Please make all cheques payable to the Bay of Bengal and full payment must be made at the time of booking.

Hurry though, as numbers are limited and last year's banquet was sold out even before it was advertised!

Quiz Night

Plans are afoot for a quiz night which has been pencilled in for February 23. Get working on the trivia, clear your diaries and come on down for an enjoyable evening.

Also under consideration is a horse racing night in March. Frankie Dettori is rumoured to be attending to dispense expert advice!

Darts

Alas, a New Year win was not to be. The gargantuan efforts of Helen Williams, Paul Thomas, Marc Shepherd and the duo of Paul Thomas and Dave Balshaw were not enough against a spirited opposition. You guessed it - we lost, but in style.

This evening we are away to that mean darting outfit, the Evergreen.
