UNDER 7s

On Sunday, Jimmy Davies, Nick Guymer and the players from the Under 7s squad (seen right) travelled to St. Davids for their second successful Sunday of tag rugby.

This team, which included players making their first ever appearance for Tenby United, produced an outstanding display of mini rugby, organising themselves in defence and tagging the St. Davids team out of the game.

They continued to score many tries, and the final score was St. Davids 4 Tenby 12. Well done boys - a great start to the season and your rugby careers!

Under 8s

Tenby Under 8s (seen right) travelled to St. Davids last weekend for their first league game of the year.

Sadly, after a few missed tags and some decisions not going their way, Tenby came out second best by one try, the final score being 8-7 in favour of St. Davids.

Evan Wright led well as captain and Oli Tucker played out of his skin with some excellent runs. Jack Henson and Rhys Barnes found some gaps in the centre and Thomas Prince and Iestyn Barrellie defended with great commitment.

Special mention to Cory Stephens, who ran in an excellent solo try to keep Tenby in the game.

The coaches would like to thank the parents that made the trip up and kept supporting the team through the bad weather.

Under 10s

Tenby Swifts Under 10s (seen below) found themselves away to St. David’s for their opening game of the season.

Both sides played well and were evenly matched for the most part of the game.

However, Tenby managed to secure the win, finishing with a 49-28 point victory.
