UNDER 14s
No game for the Tenby Suez Ondeo Under 14s, but plenty of international interest to counter the disappointment of not playing themselves.
I noticed while watching the French 14 league that Bordeaux Begles were sponsored by the same company as the seaside lads. So I looked the company up to find that they provide sustainable water and utility solutions for industry. Also water purification, too, was the boast and a more important industry would be hard to find, I think you'll agree.
What does this have in common with the Under 14s other than some kit, you ask?
Well unusually quite a lot. A safer recycling of water to be used again and again. Which is exactly what the Suez Ondeo Under 14s are striving to do, but with a rugby football.
The Thursday before last saw them take a step closer to that aim with some work that belied their tender age. Working on going through phase after phase and gaining ground with patience and control.
A fine effort and hopefully a step closer to the organised game that will put a little varnish on the effort they put in every week.
Half-term approaches and the coaches wish all the players a great break. But there is no reason why, wherever you are,y ou can't continue the rugby journey with personal training and the studying of the international matches too. Merely trying to copy what they do will go a long way to aiding your development as rugby players. Ignoring the dump tackles of course! Think of it as homework!
