Tenby Amateur Boxing Club held one of its annual shows at the town's De Valence Pavilion, recently, when local boxers took on opponents from a number of other Welsh clubs.

There were eight contests in all and results on the night were as follows:

Bout one: Lucas Probert (Tenby) lost to Peter Price (Pembroke). This was only Lucas's second performance and he did well, holding his own throughout the contest.

Bout two: Dafydd Smith (Carmarthen Prizefighter Gym) beat Sam Leyshon (Pontypridd).

Bout three: Leon Haines (Tenby) lost to Ryan Christopher (Pembroke). These two young boxers put on a brilliant performance, resulting in them being awarded bout of the night - well done to you both.

Bout four: Nigel Brznk (Bridgend) beat Gareth Lloyd (Cardigan).

Bout five: Jami Jonston (Trostre) lost to Jake Coombs Carmarthen Prizefighters).

Bout six: Joe Farrell (Tenby) lost to Thomas Williams (Pontypridd). Being new to boxing, Joe had to overcome a bout of nerves on the night, but once he settled into the contest, he put on a very good first performance. Well done Joe.

Bout seven: Dan Storer (Tenby) beat Kelvin Rees (Trostre). Once again Dan is new to the boxing fraternity. This was only his second performance, but he did extremely well on the night, earning himself a well-deserved win.

Bout eight: Sharid Ahmed (Carmarthen) lost to Spencer Thomas (Towy).

Well done to all the boys who participated on the night.
