TENBY LEISURE CENTRE SWIMATHON - The Swimathon Foundation runs an annual fund raising swim which takes place at participating swimming pools across the UK. It is considered to be the world’s largest swimming fund raising event for vital funds for Cancer Research UK & Marie Curie Charity.

15km (600 lengths) in total over 3 days! – Emma Richards; 5km (200 lengths) Ceire Merrison, Tracey Thomas, Nicola Coates, Kate Mathias, Huw Benbow, Will Lewis, Dave Poole and Paul Slack; 2.5km (100 Lengths) – Gareth Rees, Alan Richards, Iestyn Richards, Adrian Wilson, Molly Mathias and Ella Mathias; 1500 metres -Megan Richards, Madoc Richards (60 lengths); 100 metres - Deri Richards (40 lengths); 750 metres - Ieuan Richards (30 Lengths).

TOUR DE SHANE - Pembrokeshire Sportive starting and finishing at the Bishop’s Palace, St David’s riding through the Coastal National Park with memorable scenery and challenging climbs raising money for the Velindre Cancer Centre. 50 miles - Katherine Brace 3hrs 13, Lisa Day 4hrs 09 and Lisa Watkins 4hrs 27; 70 miles Ricki Morgan 4hrs 15, Tim Brace 4hrs 29.

CLUB RIDES - our summer season of Club rides continues this week. We meet at Tenby leisure centre rear car park, and leave at 6 pm prompt. We ride in 3 groups - a faster group, a medium paced group and then a slower social group, this group supported by 2 sweeper riders who make sure the everyone gets back and no-one gets lost or left behind. If you’ve not ridden with us before - come along and give it a try.
