Over Christmas and New Year the Aces took part in the Boxing Day Swim and New Year’s Swim.

A great turn out on the North Beach with both swimmers and supporters enjoying the atmosphere!

Emma Richards and Ann Rowell (with her a Space Rocket) are pictured at the water’s edge in Tenby, while at the Saundersfoot Swim the Hitchin family are seen as bananas - well done all who took part.

Member Alistair Bell gained a place in the GB Team at the International Ice Swimming Championships in Hatfield, where he swam 1km in 17 minutes 47 secs. Some of us thought he was mad only in a cossie when we trained with us on the North Beach last summer - the Artic Sea next - brrrrrrr!

Last Sunday saw a good turn out for our weekly club ride. The destination was the Foam Cafe in Milford Marina for coffee and cake. Happy New Year to all.
