CHALLENGE MOGAN GRAN CANARIA: Emil Chwistek took part in this Half Ironman Distance Triathlon finishing in a great time of 5 hrs 58 mins. The swim was held off Amadora Beach, the Bike course took in 5 loops around the area and the run was a 2 loop course.
GOZO HALF MARATHON: Michael Matthews is 1hr 48 mins. This race was held on the beautiful Mediterranean Island of Gozo starting and finishing in the Town of Xaghra.
WYE VALLEY BREWERY SPORTIVE: Well done to Vicky Jones who rode this 53 mile Sportive though the Malvern Hills - hope you enjoyed your prize.
LONDON MARATHON: Well done to the following Aces who took part in this iconic run through the streets of London - Anto O’Hara 3hr 49, Mandy Draper 3hr 59 and Morgan Slate in 5hrs 15
CLUB RIDES - We meet at Tenby leisure centre rear car park, and leave at 6pm prompt. We ride in 3 groups - a faster group, a medium paced group and then a slower social group, this group supported by 2 sweeper riders who make sure the everyone gets back and no-one gets lost or left behind. If you’ve not ridden with us before - come along and give it a try.
Tuesday - Route 12: (Cosheston) Marsh Road, Trefloyne Lane, St. Florence, Coal Lane, The Ridgeway, down Milton Hill, turn right at Farm shop then left into Milton, Paskeston Road, Cosheston, Slade Cross, Myletts Hill, Buttermilk Lane, Bush Hill, Pembroke, Upper Lamphey Road, Lamphey, Hodgeston, Jameston, Lydstep and back to Tenby. (approx 23 miles). Sweepers Jamie Silvester and Dan Belli
Thursday - Route 60: (Manorbier and Stackpole): Tenby, coast road to Manorbier, turn left into Manorbier, down past castle to beach, up steep hill, turn left onto narrow road, then to junction with coast road, turn left and then left again up Jason road to Fresh East, turn left down Fresh East Hill, up Trewent hill and turn right for Stackpole church, then right down and up hills, turn right at top and down St Daniels Hill, left for Pembroke castle, Pembroke, upper Lamphey Rd, back to Tenby via Ridgeway (approx. 24 miles).
