The Tenby 10K returns at the end of this month, with those taking part raising money for a worthy cause.
The event will take place on Sunday, October 25.
The 10K is a community event in aid of the Paul Sartori Hospice Home Charity.
Starting and finishing in Tudor Square, the 10km course is a challenging two lap run through the beautiful seaside town on traffic-free closed roads.
The event is now organised by the Waterfront Community Runners.
A spokesperson for the event shared: “We are proud to reflect on the outstanding success of last year’s Tenby 10K event, where we welcomed nearly 1,000 runners and, thanks to the generosity of sponsors and participants, raised over £20,000 for the Paul Sartori Foundation.
“This achievement highlighted the incredible strength of our local community and the shared commitment to supporting such a vital cause.”
The event (which is sold out) will start in the town centre at 10am, with the route taking in the sites of Tenby.
The route loops past North Beach views, moves through Frog Street and The Paragon, runs along the Esplanade and loops through Culver Park, Warren Street, and Narberth Road before heading back to Tudor Square.
The race will be taking place on public roads that will be subject to a Road Closure Notice by Pembrokeshire County Council, effective before and during the race.
This will close off road access to a large section of the central area of Tenby between 9.30am and 12 noon.

Please bear this in mind when organising your travel to the event.
Roads affected are: St Julian Street, Tudor Square, High Street, White Lion Street, Frog Street, Paragon, Esplanade, Victoria Street, Culver Park, Southcliff Street, Trafalgar Roas/Church Park, Queens Parade, Station Road, Warren Street, Norton, Croft, Narberth Road.
