Fourteen-year-old Narberth cricketer, Sean Coaker (pictured) was selected to play for Wales U14s at the start of this cricket season and hasn't looked back, as he successfully took on the role of spearheading the Wales bowling attack.

Sean, who spent the winter months travelling twice a week to the Indoor Cricket Centre at Neath, trained under the watchful eyes of, amongst others, 2005 Ashes hero Simon Jones, Glamorgan and England 'A' all-rounder Darren Thomas and Glamorgan wicket keeper/batsman Adrian Shaw.

In addition, there were numerous trips to the SWALEC Stadium to join up with fellow Wales squad members to train at the National Indoor Cricket Centre.

Sean has had a great season, having been selected to play in all 17 matches of an extensive Wales U14s fixture list, against the likes of Yorkshire, Hampshire and Somerset, and also playing senior cricket for Narberth, which has seen him through the course of the season, successfully progress from the second team into the first team.

No doubt we'll be hearing a lot more about this talented young cricketer in the near future.
