Disgruntled St. Florence AFC manager Darryl Evans has called for a change in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League rules.

The call follows his side's recent 10-1 defeat against Neyland Seconds in division four, a match in which he claims the opposition fielded 10 first team players.

"It's unjust and unfair," he said this week. "The whole system needs to be overhauled. We beat their Seconds 5-0 a couple of weeks ago, but there's no way a fourth division side is going to defeat a first division side.

"The league should discuss this at their next meeting, as who knows, at the end of the season this sort of thing could affect promotion and relegation issues," he added.

Neyland are adamant, however, that they didn't play 10 first team players in the match and this has been confirmed by league secretary, Brian Hawkins.

"The rule only allows three players from their last first team game and Neyland have complied with this - a fact the manager knows as he had written to me about it," he told the Observer.
