Trefloyne Golf Club recently held its annual Captains Day event. Despite the unpredictable weather forecast, it was blue sky and sunshine, with over 90 members and guest sponsors taking to the course. There was a variety of sporting attire on show with many of the players getting into fancy dress with plus fours to add some fun! This year's two nominated charities were the Wales Air Ambulance and Cancer Research. After a day of golf and excellent food on the terrace, the presentations were followed by evening entertainment with the 'Easy Tigers' band and disco 'til late. Nick and Rita would like to extend a huge thanks to all those who took part in the day and are grateful for the generosity of the sponsors for helping to raise money for their nominated charities.
