They summed up the display succinctly on their own Twitter page by saying 'In all honesty, simply not good enough! Disappointing display and performance.'

Jack Franklin led the way, scoring twice, while Ross Hurst and Michael Scale nipped in for the others.

Pennar Robins' seconds travelled to Broad Haven and lost 8-3, despite a brace by Carl Rees and one by Gareth Stewart, while Cosheston Cougars made the trip over the water to play Hubberston, but narrowly lost 4-3.

Wayne Boswell grabbed one for the visitors, while Philip Hay finished the game with two.

Lamphey are still top of division three, but they have started to drop points as the season comes to an end and Saturday was no exception. Over the past couple of weeks they have been held to draws, while their last game ended in defeat after Carew seconds got the better of them.

Josh Dearsely scored for the home team, but goals by Alex Moore and Robert Whitfield meant the visitors went home with the points.

Meanwhile, a 3-1 win for Lawrenny means they are only one point behind Lamphey and second-placed Broad Haven after the Gavenyards beat Merlins Bridge seconds 3-1 on the Racecourse.

Pendine have been the epitome of inconsistency this season and while they can frustrate some weekends, on others they can enthral and this weekend was no exception.

The conditions were obviously favouring the Gulls' style of play as they slammed in nine goals against Milford Athletic seconds to win 9-2.

Callum Syddal had the most productive afternoon, slotting in four goals against the visitors, while two apiece from Adam Newell and Nathan Davies and one by Ricky Hunt sealed the emphatic win for the hosts.

Not such a happy afternoon for St. Clears' seconds as they lost 5-0 at Prendergast Villa reserves.

Goals by Jason Jones, William Dunlop and Ryan Williams ensured Narberth thirds' promotion charge was still on course after they won 3-1 at Pembroke Boro, for whom Robson Walkey scored, while Kilgetty seconds lost 4-0 at Solva reserves.

Angle seconds' rise up the ranks continued at home as they beat their counterparts from Broad Haven 3-2.

Nathan Ferrier, Ryan Bowen and Gareth Howells all scored for the home team.

Goals by James Phillips, Wayne Callen, Rhys Jenkins and Sam Davies ensured Lawrenny seconds drew 4-4 with Hundleton reserves, while Carew thirds had a comfortable 3-0 win at Llangwm seconds.

Another fine display by St. Florence saw them slam in the goals again after they demolished Camrose seconds 8-1.

Michael Robins and Charlie Patching both finished with a brace apiece, while the other goals came from Colin Batley, Robert Goldsworthy and Adam Roberts.
