Craig Weston's St. Clears faced a tough test at Herbrandston on Saturday as the in-form home team showed just why they were the early season pace-setters by defeating the visitors 5-2.
The Saints went down to their ninth defeat of the season as the home team proved too strong, with Nick Squire and Steven Thomas scoring the only goals for the well-beaten away team.
Narberth were also away as they made the trip to Monkton Swifts in a battle of the birds. As it happens, neither the Bluebirds nor the Swifts came out on top as they were tied 2-2 at the end, with Matthew Price scoring yet again for Narberth alongside a goal by Dorian Davies. For Monkton, the goals were scored by Matthew Davies and Daniel Scourfield.
Angle hosted Goodwick United, but went down 3-0, while Saundersfoot Sports travelled to Hakin in a top v bottom clash and it was no surprise to see the home side coming out on top 5-0.
Meanwhile, at Bush Camp, Pennar Robins entertained Merlins Bridge and came out 2-0 winners.
Adam Cole and Phil Thompson scored the goals for the hosts in a match sponsored by the First and Last.

They're still top of division two, but Carew went down to a shock defeat at second from bottom Letterston on Saturday, losing 4-3, and the news wasn't much better for Hundleton after they lost 1-0 at Milford United.
It's been another disappointing season for Kilgetty, but they managed to win their fourth game of the season over the weekend after a 4-2 win at home against Clarbeston Road Seconds, while Narberth seconds also won after a fine 3-2 victory over Hakin United's reserves.
The Vikings are never an easy proposition, but the Jesse Road pitch was not to the visitors liking as the Bluebirds ended the game on top.
An own goal got the ball rolling for Narberth, before Ben John and Nicholas Jones scored to secure their 10th win of the season.
Harry Ryan scored twice and Neilson Cole once in Carew seconds' 3-2 win at home to Cosheston, with Wayne Boswell grabbing both goals for the visitors, while Lamphey continue to sweep away all before them after another resounding success at home, with Pennar Robins' seconds the victims of their success.
Jamie Price and Sean Edmundson scored for the Robins, but a brace by Mike Davis, followed by goals from Richard Williams, Josh Dearsley and Daniel Kitts, ensured the points stay at home in the Castle Inn sponsored clash.
Good news, too, for Lawrenny after they won 4-1 at home against Broad Haven. Dean Morris, Owen James and Mike Howe all scored for the hosts as they racked up their 10th win of the season.
Manorbier United's form has been patchy this season, but they were on fire over the weekend after a 5-0 demolition of Milford Athletic.
James Hall was the chief destroyer for the home side, finishing the game with a hat-trick, while Jordan Richards scored twice. Not such good news for Saundersfoot Sports' seconds as they lost 1-0 at Prendergast Villa seconds.
At St. Clears there were no bragging rights in the derby day clash between the Saints' second team and Pendine after the game finished 0-0, while Kilgetty seconds drew 2-2 with their counterparts from Hundleton, with Lloyd Wilson and Mark Jones scoring for the home side.
It was a good day for Narberth Thirds as they demolished Camrose seconds 8-0 and it was a particularly good day for Dafydd Wright as he finished the game with five goals to his name.
Ben Barnet also got in on the act finishing with a brace, while Jason Jones added the other.
A goal by Angle's Nathan Ferrier was the only difference between his second team and Carew thirds, while Jamie Wallace scored for Pembroke Boro seconds in their 3-1 loss at Haverfordwest Cricket Club.
Finally, there was a tight game at St. Florence where a goal by Charlie Patching was the only thing separating the home side against Llangwm seconds, with the Saints winning their eighth game of the season.
