The division one title slipped further from Narberth's grasp as they went down to their third defeat of the season at home to Merlins Bridge who are also a potential, yet unlikely winner of the title.
Quite why The Bluebirds have lost form in the business end of the season remains to be seen. They are still a force to be reckoned with, have a good squad to choose from yet since the start of the year, their form has been inconsistent at best.
On Saturday, they went down 4-2 against the Wizards, a result which means they now drop into third as Hakin United, the champions elect in many people's eyes, take over the reins at the top.
Matthew Price scored from the penalty spot for the home side and Morgan Preece from open play, but although they were constant thorns in the visitors' side, victory went back to the Racecourse.
St. Clears fared better as they romped to their fifth win of the campaign following a comprehensive 3-1 win over bottom club St. Ishmaels.
Ian Derbyshire got the ball rolling for the home side, while Steve Thomas and Sean Seymour-Davies netted the others in a one-sided win.
The second half of the season has been nothing but a stroll in the park for Tenby as they keep winning with ease. Saturday was no exception as the Seasiders grabbed the bragging rights that they could feast on for years following an 8-0 annihilation of Saundersfoot Sports.
The win leaves the Sports teetering on the edge of relegation, not that Tenby would mind as their ruthless streak came to the fore. Jack Christopher and Jordan Richards both scored twice for the visitors, while there were goals apiece for Darryl Mansbridge, Sam Christopher, Billy Vaughan and Jake Proctor, to seal an emphatic win away from home.
Kilgetty's fate was all but sealed as they succumbed to a 7-0 thrashing at home to division two table-toppers Angle.
Even with home advantage, the Kingsmoor outfit had no answer to Angle's pace and guile as they showed just why they are leading the table and heading into division one.
Anyone judging Angle's man-of-the-match award had their work cut out with both Dean Lawrence and Chris Richards grabbing hat-tricks, while Gareth Fisher was the other player to add to Kilgetty's woes.
Will Hughes was on target for Carew as they drew 1-1 at Milford Athletic, while Dylan Davies slammed one in for Narberth seconds, but they had an afternoon to forget following a 9-1 home defeat against Lamphey.
Lawrenny went down to their ninth defeat of the season after a 3-1 loss at Cosheston Cougars, with Owen James scoring for the visitors. The home side were on fire throughout and were indebted to Luke Hendrie, Sean Edmondson and Wayne Boswell for their fine win.
Phil John was on target for Pennar Robins' thirds, but even his strike couldn't prevent them from going down 2-1 at Hubberston, while it was all-square at Manorbier as the home side drew 2-2 with Broad Haven thanks to goals from Luke Askew and Joey McKeown.
Goals were the order of the day at Tenby seconds, too, as they won 7-0 against Camrose, with Richard Tebbitt, Declan Escott and Ricky Rees Thomas finishing with a brace apiece, while Paddy McKeown grabbed the other.
In division four, Pendine played their first game in weeks and showed no rustiness as they disposed of St. Clears' seconds 3-2, with the goals coming from Sean Lynch, Rob Thomas and Luke Ormond.
Monkton Swifts' seconds made short work of beating Hundleton seconds as they won 6-1 against the beleaguered visitors.
Stuart Midgely got on the scoresheet for the away side, but that was their only high point as two goals from Peter Worrall and one each from Jordan Kelly, Matthew Davies, Rob James and Blake James ensured victory for the home side.
St. Florence were on fire against Pembroke Boro as they won 5-2. Ashley Smith scored the first for the winners before two each from Jake Webster and Adam Roberts, while Daniel Heeps and Marc Evans grabbed consolations for the away team.
James Picton was on song for Saundersfoot Seconds, but his strike couldn't prevent a 2-1 loss at St. Ishmaels' seconds.
In division five, Angle seconds piled on the goals against Haverfordwest Cricket Club seconds as they won 9-0.
A hat-trick by Luke Wickland, two each for Jason Davies and Nathan Ferrier and one apiece for Nick Williams and Max Shawcross ensured the points stayed with the home side.
Lewis Hamilton scored for Monkton Swifts' Thirds, but they went down 3-1 at Broad Haven while Cosheston Cougars' seconds beat their Lawrenny counterparts 6-0.
Jason Davies and David Dutton both scored for Pembroke Boro seconds, but couldn't prevent them going down 4-2 at Solva, and finally, Narberth thirds ensured it was a weekend to forget for the club as they lost 7-0 away at Carew Thirds, making it three losses out of three on Saturday for the Bluebirds.
On a great day for the home club, a brace each for Johnny Harries and Alex Moore, together with goals from Scott Cowper, Tom Arthur and DJ Bradbury, ensured they won their seventh game of the season.
