On a heavy Jesse Road pitch, playing expansive football was difficult, yet this is a result that would have disappointed the home faithful as they are placed higher in the league than the Nomads having played five fewer games, suggesting they are the better side on form this year.

It proved to be an excellent weekend for them as they defeated their tricky opponents 5-1 with Ricky Hicks and Simon Bancroft finishing with a brace apiece, while Lloyd Evans grabbed the other.
