It was another miserable weekend for Pembrokeshire's footballers as Friday's snow showers played havoc with the county's pitches, with just 14 matches played in total.
Both teams from St. Clears had their matches postponed, while Pendine suffered yet again in what must be their worst season ever for completion of fixtures even by their standards.
The Gulls are an almost certainty for cancellations after a period of heavy precipitation when home games are scheduled, but this season they have only played eight league matches, half the amount of most teams in their division.
On one hand it means they are fresh going into games, but on another it's a noose around the neck as come the spring when mid-week matches start up again, they will be playing virtually every day of the week as they attempt to catch up.
Not only will this bring a toll on the players' bodies, it will also be a logistical nightmare as work commitments get in the way.
Kilgetty seconds also had their game postponed, but their first team managed to play away at Angle, one of the only areas in the county not to be affected by snow.
While this may have saddened the village's youngsters, their football team was delighted as they wrapped up a 9-0 home victory.
Kilgetty's performances of late have not been as consistent as they would have liked, but this is no surprises given they are a much better fair weather side, as last year's performances suggested.
At this point of their campaign they could barely buy a win, but as the pitches hardened again, they were able to string a series of results together that ensured survival in the division and provided a platform for this campaign as they sit handsomely in a mid-table position.
Manorbier United played host to Hubberston and came out on top following a 4-2 win. Proving it was a team performance, the goals were shared around as Dave Blackwell, Jake Webster, Ben Hall and Joey McKeown all found the back of the net.
Tenby seconds were also at home, with Camrose seconds the visitors, and it turned out to be a miserable trip for them as they went down 7-3.
The Seasiders were in inspired form, despite shipping three goals, as Declan Escott scored three, Richard Perry twice, while Jack Sawyers and Richard Tebbitt both scored once.
Lawrenny seconds travelled to the wet and windy Racecourse of Haverfordwest Cricket Club and braved the freezing wastes to record a 5-4 victory which is just as well given the distances the teams have to walk before even getting to the pitch.
With the conditions proving to be a great leveller, the game was nip and tuck throughout, although Kelvin George, Jon Beff and Sam Davies with a fine hat-trick all made sure of three points for the visitors.
Manorbier United made the long trek to Solva and came away with a creditable draw. Paul Maytum and Marc Ledge were the men to score as United secured their seventh win of the season.
