Llandeilo 10 pts.

Tenby United 6

Having lost three in a row, Tenby United would have seen a visit to the bottom of the table team as the perfect chance to get back to winning ways, but it was lowly Llandeilo who took the spoils and lifted themselves off the foot of division three west at the same time.

Without a win since November, Llandeilo took the lead just before half-time when flanker Matthew Davies crashed over the try line from short range, but the Seasiders managed to reduce the deficit before the interval through a penalty from fly-half Tom Lewis.

The hosts increased their lead in the second half when outside-half Osian Williams darted through after a scintillating break to cross in the corner for a superb try.

Tenby hit back again with another penalty from Lewis but, despite a late flurry of attacks from the Seasiders, it was the home side that managed to hang on for the win with some resolute defending.
