SSAC held a length match at Llansteffan on Sunday, sponsored by Mandy and Dai, of the Cross Inn, Broadmoor. Despite the early start, 17 anglers competed, with 15 landing in-size fish.

Results were: 1. Tony O'Neill with a Flounder of 861g (£100 and 10 points); 2. Gareth Protheroe with a bag length of 188cm (£50 and eight points); 3. Joe Protheroe with 130cm bag (£25 and six points); 4. Rob Beynon with 103cm of fish (four points).

Thanks once again to Dai and Mandy for their warm welcome and hot food back at the pub for the weigh-in.

Sunday, November 17 - Tenby North. Sign on at Butts Field by 11.15 am, fishing noon to 4 pm. Weigh-in after the match.

Sunday, December 1 - Saundersfoot beach sponsored by Paul Thomas. Sign on at the harbour car park by 12.45 pm, fishing 1.30 to 5.30 pm, with the weigh-in at the Sports Club after the match. £100 first prize, £50 second.

Sunday, December 8 - Amroth Beach sponsored by Hughes and John. Match to include 2013 Doubles event. Sign on at the car park behind Amroth Arms by 4.15 am, fishing 5 - 9 am. Weigh-in after the match at Sandy Hill Café with full English!

Sunday, December 15 - Fur and Feather on Saundersfoot Beach followed by annual raffle. Sign on at the Sports Club by 10.15 am, fishing 11 am to 4 pm, with the weigh-in after the match at the club. No points for this memorial match - would any member providing and/or collecting raffle prizes please hand them to Carl, Llew or Tony O. Thanks.

Wednesday, December 4 - AGM at the Sports Club, 8 pm start. All members are invited to attend. Only chance to air changes, grudges etc!
