Indoor internationals

Congratulations to Steph Amos, who is currently with the Welsh indoor ladies bowls team competing in the Home International series in Stanley, near Newcastle.

This is the first time Steph has been selected for the squad and she is wished well by her friends at the club.

Steph and daughter Gemma are among a number of club members enjoying a successful indoor season at Heatherton IBC, with Gemma herself playing in the junior international series in Nottingham in January, where she too enjoyed a successful series.

Cawl night

A successful cawl night was held on Friday night when members and friends celebrated St. David's Day.

Vice-chairlady Diane Rigden made a delicious cawl, while Alwen Hughes sang a medley of Welsh songs which was complemented by sketches by Rene Silcox, Elaine Shaw and Roy Kennion, who had everyone in fits of laughter.

The whole evening was rounded off in traditional style with the singing of the national anthem.

Club chairman Myrddin Dennis and president Ann Lewis thanked everyone involved in making the evening a success.

Fun evening

Don't forget, the Family Fortunes fun evening takes place on Saturday, March 29, from 7 pm.

The evening will include a pie supper, followed by the bowling club's own version of the popular TV show.

There will also be a special guest appearance by a well-known local entertainer! Cost is £5.50 and there is a sheet on the noticeboard in the clubhouse for those wishing to attend to sign their names.

WWLBA

fundraiser

Tickets for the WWLBA fundraiser, taking place at Haverfordwest BC on Saturday, March 15, are available at the club.

It is hoped as many Saundersfoot members as possible will support junior vice-president Pam Langdon at the event.

Management meeting

This month's management committee meeting takes place on Tuesday, at 6 pm, in the clubhouse.
