Tenby Under 16s started the new year with an away game to Fishguard RFC.

The home team came out strong and were quick to cross the line in the corner and open the score.

Tenby regrouped and started to put some phases together. The remainder of the first half would see the Seasiders score three unanswered tries by Connor Davies, Ryan Morris and Alfie Luger. One was converted by Alfie Pryor and Tenby went into the half time break with a lead 5-17.

Tenby scored the opener of the second half with Luger diving over for his second of the game. This was followed up by a well taken kick up field by Madoc Evans who scored under the posts.

The try was converted by Pryor and the Seasiders extended their lead to 5-29.

Fishguard hadn’t given up fighting for a try of their own though, and were soon able to turn some pressure into points and cross for try number two to close the gap to 10-29.

Tenby responded by running in the next two tries, one for Lewis Rossitor and the next for Owen Grieve. Pryor converted the second to extend the lead further.

The last ten minutes of the game saw Fishguard throw everything at the Seasiders but their immense defence kept the home team out, to see the score finish at 10-41 to Tenby.
