On Saturday, June 9, the three teams from the new girls rugby hub based in Tenby, travelled to Whitland for their first experience of playing rugby.

The nerves you could see on the girls’ faces soon disappeared after the first whistle, and you would not believe that all of these girls have only been training for five weeks.

They were awesome in every game, with the running, passing, tagging, tackling, try scoring practice they had experienced all coming into place on the day.

Well done to the girls and their coaches, who can now look forward with confidence to the next game!
