Saundersfoot Sports Club (sponsored by LG Leisure Ltd) played away on Monday evening in their latest league match, and were 3-2 winners.

First frame saw Martin Durham play A. Thomas. Martin started the slower, but then got going. However, a few really bad mistakes put him on the backfoot and midway through he found himself 18 points down. Martin battled on gamely, but to no avail.

Second frame saw Dean Ludlow play B. Lovell. Dean started well, opening up a good lead early on. Mid-frame it was back to all level, then Dean’s opponent potted some good balls to inch ahead. Dean hit back and by the colours was 20 points up, going on to close out what was a very good frame.

Third frame saw Mark Cleevely play G. Barrett. Mark started well and went on to win convincingly.

Frame four saw Dave Wooles play P. Malloy. Dave started cautiously, but then started to take control. In fact, he played the perfect frame with both excellent potting and safety, which included a 24-point break (well done).

Final frame saw captain Glyn Davies play M. McCarthy. Glyn was never in this as his opponent was in fine potting form and it was over as a contest in a little over 10 minutes.
