Saundersfoot Sports Club (sponsored by LG Leisure) played host to the Black Rabbit 'A' team on Monday evening and were 3-2 losers.
The first frame saw Glyn Davies play Ian Forrester. Glyn started well, but, up against probably their best player, succumbed by the colours (no surprise there then).
The second frame saw Dean Ludlow play Brett John. Dean, in good form of late, started the stronger, but Brett is a former singles finalist and no mug. He compiled a 32 break to take command and close the frame out.
Despite only having four players, the Black Rabbit were now 2-0 up and needed just one more for victory.
The third frame saw Martin Durham play Paul Harris. Martin struggled a little this week, but played solid at the end. By then it was too late, though, as his opponent proved just too strong and went on the seal the win.
The final frame saw Mark Cleevely play Mike Roberts. Mark was once again in good form, winning comfortably, as he usually does.
