Mid-table Whitland were bowled out for 134 chasing a Neyland total of 237-9. Nathan Banner led the way for the visitors with 86, including three sixes and 10 fours, supported by Henry Durrant with 40, Ashley Sutton with 28 and Andrew Miller with 25. Daniel James and Scott Newton each took four wickets for Whitland, for whom Kevin Pearce struck a rapid 49 with nine fours and Geraint James chipped in with 21. Spinner Andrew Miller did the damage with a 6-30 spell. Narberth were dismissed for 135 at home to Llanrhian who won by seven wickets. Sam Mills with 39 and Michael Scale with 32 were the leading scorers for Narberth as Jack Jones took 4-12 for the visitors and then Ben Jones had an undefeated 58 to take Llanrhian to 138-3 supported by Dominic Wright with 32 and Gareth Davies with 30. Carew picked up their second victory of the season with an eight-wicket win at St. Ishmaels. The away team reduced Tish to 177-9, with Rhys Davies taking 4-37, before knocking the runs off with ease thanks to Ian Sefton's 48, Nic Scourfield's 58no, Simon Wood's 23 and Tim Hicks's unbeaten 26. A magnificent innings by Cresselly's Phil Williams helped them achieve a winning draw at home to Lawrenny, but the visitors almost pulled off a resounding victory as they finished just short of their target. Chasing 244-8, they ended on 231-7, a great game between sides that know each other so well. Williams cashed in on a good batting track by scoring 122 not out, while young Harry Thomas showed his rich potential with 36. Brad Jenkins, playing against his former club for the first time, scored 45, before taking 2-29 in the reply. For Lawrenny, Steve Lewis took 3-25. Andrew Cole led the run chase with 70, while James Buckle hit 65, yet Simon Cole's 4-35 kept them in check. Two seasons ago, Saundersfoot were topping the division one table before an epic fall saw them relegated. Last year they stormed division two, but having lost some players for various reasons, they are now favourites to go down again and Saturday proved this after a heavy nine-wicket defeat against Haverfordwest. The home side were bundled out for 46, with the Town knocking the runs off with ease. Whitland Seconds are still looking for their first win of the season after being bundled out for 79 in response to a Carew Seconds total of 198-7. Dafydd Bevan scored 54 for the hosts and there were also runs for Luke Hicks with 42 and Haydn Shapcott with 36. Leighton O'Connor took 3-22 for the Whitland team, for whom a number of players got into double figures, but failed to capitalise on their decent starts. Joel Read and James Hinchliffe each picked up three of the wickets to fall. Cresselly seconds settled for a draw against second placed Llangwm after holding the home side to 192-4. Richard Harries showed his class in the reply with an innings of 76 not out after taking two of the home team's wickets, while Adam Chandler's return to the club saw him smash 48. Last week, Johnston secured an epic win against Whitland seconds and this week it was Pembroke's turn to feel their power as the Tigers racked up 257-5, before bundling the away team out for 155 for a 102-run win. Lee Summons led the way with a knock of 145 not out, while Daniel Sutton struck 41, before Simon Williams roared in to take 2-18 in the away team's reply. Sean Powell hit 25 for Pembroke, while Jonathan Rogers struck 21 before Barry Evans and Phil Hay's 20 apiece. Narberth Seconds lost by 164 runs away to Neyland Seconds for whom Lyn Rees scored 70, Patrick Bellerby 50 and Adam Bowles 49 in a total of 238-9. Skipper Owen Richards took 5-46 for Narberth Seconds, who were dismissed for 74 as Thomas Pritchard took 4-17 and Callum Wood 3-5. Kilgetty are second in the Division Three table after getting the better of a drawn match at home to Stackpole, who were held to 158-6 in response to a Kilgetty total of 268-2. Jake Marsh scored his second century of the season in an innings of 115no, supported by Ross Hardy with 72 and Toby Poole with 28no. Although Josh Davies scored 58 and James Adie 50, the visitors closed their innings on 158-6, after spinner Ian Poole had taken 4-14. A first innings stand of 165 between Richard Thorn and Elgan Vittle saw Crymych gain a 10-wicket win at Pembroke Dock after the home side were 164 all out. Luke Murray struck 35 for the Dock and Chris Boyett 34, while James Olyott hit 24, but the Mountain Men raced to their first win of the season in record time. After topping the table early on, Lamphey's run of success has hit the buffers after a couple of shoddy batting performances and Saturday was no exception as they were shot out for 47 in reply to Camrose and Spittal's 164 all out. Skipper Stephen Vale took 2-31 for the Stags, while Mike May hit 16 in the reply, but the home side outgunned the visitors in all facets of the game. Saundersfoot seconds found the going tough against Herbrandston as they were shot out for 67, with Kristen Bennett taking six wickets for the home team. Only Dickie Parcell with 32 had any sort of success against the home team, who reached their target for the loss of no wickets. Lawrenny seconds won by 10 wickets at home to Herbie's second string after bowling them out for 87 thanks to Matthew Lewis's 5-15 and John Fuller's brace. In reply, Steve Campbell and Adrian Harries knocked off the runs, scoring 52 and 25, respectively. Hundleton remain top of division four after yet another impressive performance saw them beat Hook seconds by nine wickets. Hook were all out for 116 as Paul Edwards took 4-19, while Scott Richards with 34 not out and John Williams with a superb 58 not out saw them home. Carew thirds were in fine form, scoring 241-6 against Llangwm seconds, with Adam Hughes just falling short of a century after hitting 95. Tom Lewis was also in the runs with 87 and was the undoubted man-of-the-match, too, as he took 3-34 in the reply, alongside Yori Hicks's 3-27, as Llangwm were all out for 139. Narberth Thirds reached a huge total of 283-9 away to Stackpole Seconds. Ashley Williams scored 75 and Ryan Williams 71, but there was a terrific innings of 57 by Jake Harden in his first ever game of cricket! Iori Roberts took 4-62 for the hosts and then scored 49 in a Stackpole innings of 88 all out. Sean Thomas took 4-18 for the Narberth team. It wasn't such a good day for Cresselly seconds, however, as they went down by five wickets at Llechryd after being bowled out for 82. Hundleton seconds were also without a win as they lost by three wickets at Haverfordwest fourths. The visitors were reduced to 99-6 from their overs and induced a batting collapse, but the home side prevailed by reaching their target for the loss of seven wickets. Pembroke seconds gained the bragging rights over Pembroke Dock seconds, winning by 138 runs after posting 224-8. In a great team batting performance, Sam Davies scored 36, Spencer Harries 54 and Colin Kaijaks 24, with John Davies taking 3-43. In reply, only Tom Grimwade with 25 showed any resistance as Sam Davies took 4-29 and Robbie Hearn 3-31. Whitland Thirds were without a game in Division Six and so too were Lamphey seconds after failing to raise a side, but Kilgetty seconds were victorious at Crymych after scoring 132-3 in reply to the home team's 131-6. Jason Webb took 3-21 for the visitors, while Jack Tucker struck an unbeaten 68 in the reply and Kyle Marsh hit 37.
