Tenby 10k, kindly sponsored by Fourcroft Hotel and FBM Holidays, was held on Sunday when almost 420 runners entered the race.

In glorious sunshine the athletes ran from The Croft, around Penally and finished in Tudor Square to the cheers of locals and holidaymakers alike.

First man in was Gareth Ayres in 34.48 and first lady was Shan Roberts in 39.51 and they both won holidays supplied by the sponsors.

Other winners were: Open Male - James Hockin; M40 - John Pullen; M50 - Alan Davies; M60 - Cyril Walters; Open Female - Carol Parsons; F35 - Emma Lynch; F45 - Rachael Haggar; F55 - Patricia Jones.

A big thank you goes to the sponsors, Pembrokeshire County Council, the police, St. John Ambulance, Matt and Chris from the harbour, Tri Exercise, G&I Roofing, Tesco, Ladies Circle, Tenby House, Tenby Leisure Centre, Chris Evans and all the marshals - without their help the race wouldn't take place.

The date for next year's race is July 29, 2013.
