TENBY Sailing Club’s Nina Marsh, with Amelia and Jon Nuttall, travelled to Weymouth again last weekend to compete in the 2024 Laser Qualifiers.

Nina’s expertise gained her 4th place in two of the six races, moving her up from 12th to 10th overall from the 54 entries. Amelia slipped to 36th, and Jon to 26th in his class.

Racing in Tenby will begin with a practice race on 30 March, followed on 6 April by three races to compete for the Doctor White Cup.

The season will continue with two races every Saturday, the first one starting at 3pm, and one race on Tuesday evenings starting at 6.30pm.

Cruiser Captain, Tom Eyre, has been enjoying some day cruising on the Cleddau, while others are preparing for the racing season to start on Saturday, 4 May. The annual lifting-in of the Caldey boats, cruisers, and other craft, will be on 10 April. Dredging across the harbour entrance will take place from 26-29 March.

The next Ex-Commodores Quiz will be on 6 April at 8pm.
