Last Sunday saw the first Annual Pool Masters Knockout held at the Alpha Inn.

There was some talent on show, with a few shocks on the way.

A total of 28 out of 32 players turned up.

Losing quarter-finalists were: Dafydd Wright (Ivy Bush), Richard Lewis (Kilgetty RAOB A), Neil Thomas (Kilgetty RAOB A), Steve Barney (Whitland Sports).

Losing semi-finalists were: Dan Hughes (Alpha A) and Paul Brown (Alpha A).

Runner-up was Alan Luke (Dragon), with the eventual winner being Simon Beynon (Dingle), who not only picked up the first prize of £100, but also collected a fine trophy and the Gordon Hallwood Memorial Shield.
