Narberth progressed to the last 16 of the West Wales Cup after a comfortable victory against Coelbren Athletic of Neath last Saturday.
Narberth started brightly and Matthew Price and Jordan Williams forced early saves out of the home goalkeeper. However, it was half-an-hour before the visitors opened the scoring. Morgan Preece released player/manager Matthew Price, who put Narberth ahead.
Ten minutes later and Coelbren were level as a home striker rounded Narberth 'keeper John Durbridge to score.
The celebrations did not last long, as minutes later, Narberth were in front again. Marc Hughes met a Tony Evans corner to score at the far post with a tap-in.
Twenty minutes into the second half and Jordan Williams beat the offside trap to finish confidently and make it 3-1 to Narberth.
Matthew Price completed the scoring for the Bluebirds as he lifted the ball over the legs of the advancing 'keeper to make it 4-1 and put Narberth through to round four.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Narberth visit Fishguard Sports in the Senior Cup round two.
