West Wales Ladies Bowling Association president Jackie Church, of Pembroke Dock Bowling Club, held her president's day at the club last week on what turned out to be one of the sunniest afternoon's of the year so far. It was a musical themed afternoon, with a game of bowls with the Teabirds against the Jets, followed by high tea with musical entertainment performed by singer, Janita. Top rinks of the match were senior vice-president Cally Jones, of Whitland, for the Jets, and Julia King Thomas, of Tenby, and co, for the Teabirds. Many thanks to president Jackie for hosting a successful afternoon.
