With Saundersfoot already safe from relegation there was a totally different atmosphere as they prepared to play Pendine last Thursday evening. The game started well for Saundersfoot with plenty of goalmouth incidents and chances that could just not find the net. Suddenly, they found themselves two goals down and struggling for form. Half-time couldn't come soon enough! At the interval a spirited team talk from Gareth Hunt fired the troops into action. Saundersfoot pulled one goal back through Geoff Marsh after fine work from Jimmy Davies on the right wing. Substitute Luke Brolan then equalised with his first touch of the ball and went on to score a further two goals to complete a fine hat-trick and a 4-2 victory for the home team.
