Jordan Richards was on fire for Tenby during their away clash at Monkton Swifts as the ace striker grabbed a hat-trick for the Seasiders. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain as the home side took the points, winning 4-3.
Tenby came back from being a goal down to take a 3-1 lead, yet a resurgent home side drew level and scored the winner late on to seal the visitors' fate.
Narberth produced their finest performance of the season away at Pennar Robins as they defeated the home side 3-2.
With five regular players withdrawing at the last minute, the Bluebirds were forced to make changes and the men that came in didn't disappoint against a full strength home side.
Spokesman for the visitors, Steve Jones, couldn't help but wax lyrical about his team's performance, describing it as 'superb' and adding that Richie Adams was back to his dominant best as he displayed the vast array of skills that he possesses to bamboozle the opposition.
Tony Evans put the Bluebirds ahead after 10 minutes when he latched on to a Callum O'Connell cross, before the home side drew level, yet a mazy run from the halfway line by Richie Adams enabled Jordan Williams to score the first of his two.
Pennar drew first blood in the second half, but another goal from Williams late in the game gave Narberth the points that Jones felt they deserved.
"To a man they were all excellent. The boys that came in played superbly and helped us play some great football. It was a great result for us against a very good team and I can't praise our players enough."
If Saturday produced a great performance from Narberth, then the opposite is true of Kilgetty as they slumped to their 10th defeat of the season at home to Carew. The mid-point of the season is never a good time for the Kingsmoor club as their brand of football is not conducive to the wet, boggy grounds that are often prevalent at this time of year, yet manager Allen Hurst wasn't making any excuses for his side following the 3-0 defeat.
"It was pretty poor to be honest. We weren't at the races at all. We created few opportunities, despite one early effort, and lost to the better side on the day."
Despite playing fewer games than many teams in the second division, they are in a precarious position. They are second from bottom, three points behind Letterston, although they do have game in hand over their North Pembrokeshire rivals.
"We need to get going," added Hurst. "It's not over yet, but we need to start winning games. We've got some players coming back that should strengthen us and hopefully we'll get a run going soon."
Ian Sefton scored twice for the visitors, with James Hinchliffe nipping in for the other.
Saundersfoot's Richard Cope says his team produced an awful performance as they went down 3-2 at home against Letterston.
The Sports were 2-0 down early in the first half, but a Geoff Marsh goal and a Daniel Bates penalty that resulted in a visiting player being sent off, ensured they were able to go in level at the break.
Despite dominating the second half, they failed to convert their chances and Letterston struck with a late goal to leave the home side reeling.
"It was an awful performance", said Cope. They deserved it in the end, especially after having a man sent off. They fought hard for it and we didn't take our chances."
St. Clears manager Craig Weston praised his players after their 4-1 victory over Manorbier United, not just because of the win, but for the mental fortitude they keep showing week in week out.
It's fair to say this is turning into a great season for the West Carmarthenshire club. Unbeaten in the league, into the last 16 of the West Wales Cup and semi-final of the division three cup and Weston believes his players are coping brilliantly with the pressure of being favourites to win each week.
"Everyone wants to beat us now and this team is showing great character to keep on producing results. The boys have to big themselves up each week as they know they are in for a hard time each week and Saturday was no exception. Manorbier started off well and fought hard throughout the game, but we stepped it up in the second half and deserved the win and could have scored more."
With regular 'keeper Steve Thomas pulling out at the last minute, ace goal scorer Eddie Wiggins was forced between the sticks. It seemed to have little effect on his team-mates, however, as they scored first when Ian Derbyshire slotted the ball home.
Manorbier drew level mid-way through the half, but a Dorian Davies goal allowed the visitors to go 2-1 up at the break.
The Saints dominated the second half and created many chances, while Wiggins was left virtually redundant at the back. Sean Seymour-Davies and Nick Rees both hit the post within minutes of each other, before Nathan Evans grabbed the third and Seymour-Davies the fourth to put the game beyond doubt.
Narberth seconds made it a day to remember for the club as they defeated Johnston seconds 3-0 at home. The Jesse Road pitch was at its quagmeric worst over the weekend, but the Bluebirds' second string, decimated due to call-ups for the first team, didn't let it affect them as they dominated the game.
Ryan Williams scored the first as the home side went 1-0 up at half-time, before Mike Ryder added a second half brace to seal the win.
Manager Adrian Howells had nothing but praise for his team as the win helped them maintain third spot in the league.
"The boys played well considering the conditions. Every one of them worked their socks off. We're on a bit of a run now and we're chasing a top three finish; anything else would be a bonus."
Pendine travelled away to Pembroke Boro and came away with nothing as they lost their 11th game of the season. The 5-2 result keeps them rooted to the foot of the table, although they do have 11 games left to make amends.
Ricky Hunt and Cei Edwards scored the goals for the Gulls in another disappointing day for the club.
Tenby seconds entertained Lawrenny and sent the visitors packing after a 6-2 win.
Sam Christopher scored a hat-trick for the home side to complement goals by Adie Mckeown and a Liam Culshaw brace to ensure victory in a dominant display.
Carew seconds played host to Solva seconds and were involved in a close encounter, winning 4-3. Julianu Ionescu scored the opener for the home side, while Tom Arthur added one alongside two from Matthew Phillips to sneak a win against dogged opponents.
Saundersfoot Seconds, meanwhile, went down 4-1 at Milford United.
Ashley Smith was back on song for St. Florence as the club's top scorer scored twice in their 2-1 win over Milford Athletic.
After having three players sent-off during last week's defeat against Fishguard Sports, his goals were a welcome tonic for what was a welcome win for the Saints.
Kilgetty seconds entertained West Dragons and lost 4-2. Mike Beynon and Karl Thomas scored the goals for the home side, but the visitors proved far too strong.
Lawrenny seconds had a good win at home against Manorbier United's second team. They won 8-1, with Liam Carroll grabbing the visitors' only goal.
Roberto Harrero scored twice for Lawrenny and so too did Tom Lewis and Sam Davies as Mike Howe and Steffan Jenkins scored the others.
Finally, it was a good day for St. Clears' seconds as they won a tough clash against Cosheston Cougars 5-4.
Simon Bancroft proved the difference between the sides as he scored four alongside one from Emyr James to guarantee the points. The result places them fourth in the league, just within touching distance of the leading pack.
