New Hedges and Saundersfoot United FC have thanked all those that attended an ‘unforgettable’ charity night with Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar for worthy causes.

Former goalkeeper Bruce appeared at the special charity night at Saundersfoot’s Regency Hall on Saturday, June 28.

“Our Bruce Grobbelaar charity evening was a huge success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of so many people,” said a spokesperson for NHS United.

“To all our wonderful guests – thank you for your generosity and brilliant energy throughout the night. Bruce Grobbelaar – you were an absolute legend, both on and off the pitch. Your stories, humour, and warmth made the evening truly special.

“Lenny Dee – you had the whole room in stitches. A huge thank you for bringing the laughs!

“We came together in memory of Gareth Allen to support the Paul Sartori Foundation and Ward 10, Withybush Hospital Hywel Dda Health Charities, and we couldn’t be more grateful,” they added.
