A late comeback from The Seasiders was not enough to take the points from a close match against a side that sit above them in the table in second spot.

Andrew Price, Molson Coors and FBM Holidays sponsored Tenby United were 8-3 down at the break, away to Newcastle Emlyn, with the home side's Dan Davies snatching a try and Rhydian Harries adding a penalty

Tenby's Lloyd Thomas struck a penalty for his side, who went further behind after the interval when they conceded a further two tries, one of which was converted.

The Seasiders struck back with two tries of their own, by scrum-half and captain Will Crockford and second row Luke Dedman, one of which was converted by Thomas, but they had to settle for second best in this top three clash.

On the plus side, though, they did manage to grab themselves a consolation bonus point.

Tenby's final home game of the season will take place tomorrow (Saturday) when they welcome Gorseinon to the Heywood Lane ground.
