Twenty-five youngsters have been brushing up their hockey skills this term.
The primary school pupils from the Tenby family of schools took part in a five-week hockey fun centre at the astroturf pitch at Greenhill School.
Coached by Brenda Scourfield from Pembroke ladies hockey club, and Martyn Passmore from Carew men's hockey club, the youngsters learnt how to improve their skills and play small-sided games with the emphasis on fun.
The course proved so successful that the youngsters have now signed up for another five weeks.
The youngsters had earlier completed a five week introduction to the sport organised by Sport Pembrokeshire - the sports development arm of Pembrokeshire County Council - and Hockey Wales.
Angela Miles, hockey agent for Sport Pembrokeshire, said they hoped that some of the boys and girls who took part would now go on to join their local clubs.
