TENBY’S Jemma Nand-Lal was recently selected to play for Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire Ladies Golf First Team, versus Monmouthshire Ladies at Ashburnham Golf Club.

The 18-year-old who attends Exeter University put in a spirited performance against her seasoned opponent from St Pierre GC, to walk away a worthy 4&3 winner with a round that included five birdies on the sun-baked links course.

Although the home county drew the afternoon singles matches 3-3, it was the visitors who walked away with the eventual spoils due to a solid performance in the morning foursomes matches.
